In a unique exhibition that combines art with football, the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra) launches today, Thursday, in the Qatari capital, Doha, the first exhibition of digital NFTs inspired by the World Cup matches, in which 32 artists representing all countries participating in the World Cup participate in their creation.

The exhibition, which will be held in the Galleria Mall in Msheireb in Doha, will include their 64 paintings, which is the number of matches that will be held throughout the World Cup period.

The exhibition comes as a continuation of the center's role in enhancing cultural and civilizational communication with the world and integrating creative paths in all its branches.

The idea of the exhibition is based on merging lines, colors and paths of movement of players in the green rectangle within a unique digital painting for each match translated by artificial intelligence and created by the international artists participating in the exhibition.

The exhibition will also culminate in a special painting of the Saudi national team’s historic victory over its Argentine counterpart in Tuesday’s match, as it was created by Saudi artist Amr Boughari as an embodiment of this football epic.
