Is the Nakheland Festival Real or a Scam?
A fake Instagram account, with the name Nakheland Festival, is claiming to host a music festival in Dubai this May, featuring global pop stars Miley Cyrus, Jennie, and Charlie Puth.
The festival is supposedly scheduled from May 23 to May 25 at Marmoom, Al Qudra, Dubai. The organizers also claim to host concerts featuring Swedish House Mafia, Tame Impala, and Fred Again.
The account claims that the tickets for the festival are only available at their website nakheland.ae, unlike other music festivals in Dubai, for which tickets are available on authentic ticket platforms like Platinumlist and Live Nation.
Although all the posts of the account have a watermark of Live Nation at the bottom, if you search the event on Live Nation's official website, there is no such event available, nor is it available on the Platinumlist website.
If you visit the event's website, the page mimics the format of the official Platinumlist website, which emphasizes that the whole event is a scam.
Music fans should avoid purchasing tickets for this festival and warn their friends and family about this scam.
