Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will have a meeting with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Abu Dhabi on July 15th, as a layover from his trip to France.
The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said, "The India-U.A.E. comprehensive strategic partnership has been steadily strengthening and the Prime Minister’s visit will be an opportunity to identify ways to take this forward in various domains such as energy, education, healthcare, food security, fintech, defence and culture.”
"It will also be an opportunity to discuss cooperation on global issues, particularly in the context of the UAE’s Presidency of COP-28 and India’s G-20 Presidency in which the UAE is a “special invitee”, the statement further added.
On July 13th and 14th, the Prime Minister will travel to France at the request of Emmanuel Macron, the President of France. A Tri-Services contingent of the Indian armed forces will be participating in the Bastille Day parade in Paris on July 14 with Mr. Modi as the guest of honor. Following the conclusion of his two-day trip to Paris, PM Modi will travel to Abu Dhabi.
While traveling back from the G7 Summit in Germany a year ago, PM Modi stopped in the UAE and had a meeting with UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
