The temple, built on 27 acres of land gifted by the UAE government, stands as a symbol of the shared heritage between India and the Arab world. Constructed at a cost of approximately $95 million by the Hindu BAPS organization, the temple represents a century-old legacy originating from Modi's home state of Gujarat.

During the inauguration, Prime Minister Modi emphasized the temple's significance as a testament to the mutual love and cultural exchange between India and the UAE.
