India and Sri Lanka tied in the first One Day International (ODI) match at Colombo, Sri Lanka on Friday, Aug. 2.
Sri Lanka scored 230 runs in 50 overs and with eight wickets. Dunith Wellalage scored 67 runs off 65 balls and Prathum Nissanka scored 56 runs off 67 balls.
Other batters from the team scored 25 runs. When it was India's turn to bat, Rohit Sharma scored 58 off 47 balls, Axar Patel scored 33 runs, and KL Rahul scored 31 runs, which helped the team match Sri Lanka's score.
The second ODI between the teams is scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 4 in Colombo.
