India defeated England by eight wickets at Trent Bridge, Nottingham to go 1-0 up in the three-match ODI series. Opting to field, Kuldeep Yadav took 6/25 as the visitors restricted Eoin Morgan’s side to 268 all out. In reply, India rode Rohit Sharma’s unbeaten 137 and skipper Virat Kohli’s 75 to seal the deal with 59 balls to spare. The second ODI will be held at Lord’s on Saturday (July 14).
