Dubai International Airport's Terminal 1 is welcoming inbound flights after flight services were disrupted after the UAE was lashed with heavy rains.

DXB's authorities shared the news on their social media pages and emphasized that travellers with confirmed bookings should only come to the airport.

Check-in for Emirates and flydubai reopened at Dubai International Airport's (DXB) Terminal 3. The authorities made the announcement emphasizing that travellers should only come to the airport if they have a confirmation from their airline.

However, the airport authorities have warned of further flight delays. Nonetheless, the large clean-up operations are gathering pace at the airports to help resume airport operations as soon as possible.

More than 1,200 flights were cancelled at DXB for over two days because of the intense rainfall in Dubai.
