Dubai International Airport's Terminal 1 is welcoming inbound flights after flight services were disrupted after the UAE was lashed with heavy rains.
DXB's authorities shared the news on their social media pages and emphasized that travellers with confirmed bookings should only come to the airport.
We have now resumed arriving flights of airlines operating out of Terminal 1.

Flights continue to be delayed and disrupted, so we urge you to only come to Terminal 1 if you have a confirmed booking. Please contact your airline for the latest information on your flight status.

There is a high volume of guests in the check-in area so, please only come to the terminal if you have a departure confirmation from your airline.

However, the airport authorities have warned of further flight delays. Nonetheless, the large clean-up operations are gathering pace at the airports to help resume airport operations as soon as possible.
More than 1,200 flights were cancelled at DXB for over two days because of the intense rainfall in Dubai.
