Icicles in Abu Dhabi as UAE Records It's Lowest Temperature So Far

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) announced that temperatures in the UAE in the area of Raknah, Al Ain went below zero degrees Celsius to minus two degrees Celsius on Saturday, January 9
According to a representative from the NCM, northeasterly to easterly winds are cooling down the temperatures and such conditions are expected to last till Monday.
The representative also said that Raknah area, which is in Al Ain, gets colder than other parts of the UAE because of its location. However, temperatures around the area and in the surrounding cities are comparatively higher.
Over the next week or so those who reside in Dubai and Abu Dhabi can expect temperatures of around 24 degrees with sunshine.

The #lowest_temperature recorded over the country today morning was 2 °C below zero in Raknah at 05:15 UAE Local.
With temperatures fluctuating between 17 degrees to 25 degrees, depending on the time of day, it’s the perfect weather to take advantage of for terrace dinners and rooftop bars overlooking the city.
