Choosing the influencer that suits your brand might be a hard choice because thousands are in your hand to choose the out-standing one from. The success of the whole process depends on that choice. Keep these criteria in mind when choosing the right influencer for your brand:
1- Niche: The most important thing to keep in mind when choosing an influencer is what their specification is. Are they specialized in food, fashion, photography, beauty, make-up, etc.? You can tell from their social media accounts, especially Instagram, as they might include it in the bio. But is not it better to get any influencer who is likable by people to market your brand regardless of there are of interest? The answer is No. We need relevance here. If their niche matches what you are looking for, you can then make sure that the message will deliver to your audience the way you want.
2- Engagement: A very important factor to consider. No matter how many people follow the influencer’s accounts, what matters the most is their engagement and how much they are interested in the influencers’ products and what they post. You should consider and keep an eye on people’s likes, comments, reposts or shares. If this influencer has a big amount of engagement from the followers, h/she is definitely the best one to tackle, and the one who might generate high sales to your brand.
3- Quality over quantity: The amount of their work does not matter as much as the quality of it. You have to make sure that it has all the needed information, interesting and appealing to the eye. You should also see followers’ comments on the post. Do they like what the influencer’s do? Or, is there any sign that tells how much people hate what the influencer do? This is an important sign that tells you whether this is the best one to choose or no.
