HH Sheikh Mohammed Leads UAE Delegation to the 41st GCC Summit

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, is leading the UAE delegation to the 41st Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC) Summit that begins in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, today, January 5th 2021.
The summit will focus on Gulf unity as the six-member council convenes.

In addition, Saudi Arabia announced that it has opened its borders to Qatar after over three years initiating the first step to ending the Gulf crisis.
Last month, the Emir of Kuwait announced that a final agreement had been reached on the Gulf reconciliation.
It is worth noting that in June 2017 Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Egypt and Bahrain cut off their relations with Qatar, as the four countries took measures, including closing their airspace, preventing commercial dealings with the emirate and stopping Qataris from entering its lands.
