His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, has given instructions to host the upcoming World Governments Summit from February 18-20, 2025.

Mohammad bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, the Minister of Cabinet Affairs and Chairman of the World Governments Summit Organisation, emphasized the event's global significance in enhancing government practices and fostering international cooperation.
Al Gergawi highlighted the Summit's role in aligning with the visions of President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The aim is to empower governments, lead transformative change, and ensure a prosperous and secure future. He emphasized the Summit's track record of promoting collaboration between governments as the key to empowering people and shaping a better future.
Over its successful 11-year history, the World Governments Summit has demonstrated that governmental collaboration is essential for empowering individuals and securing a brighter tomorrow for future generations. Al Gergawi underscored the UAE's commitment to sharing its successful governance experience and the Summit's role as a global platform for knowledge exchange and inspiring positive change.
The most recent Summit hosted 4,000 experts from 140 governments, 85 international organizations, and 700 global corporations, participating in over 110 plenary sessions and interactive dialogues.
Al Gergawi emphasized the ongoing commitment to introducing impactful initiatives that address key challenges, making each edition of the World Governments Summit a platform for sharing knowledge and inspiring positive change worldwide.
