Nasa announced on Saturday that UAE astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi and his three companions would return to Earth in late August after spending nearly six months on the International Space Station.
Sultan Al Neyadi, 41, made history by being the first Arab to do a spacewalk and embark on a long-duration space mission.
Dr. Al Neyadi, American astronauts Stephen Bowen and Woody Hoburg, and Russian cosmonaut Andrey Fedyaev comprise Crew-6 astronauts. They boarded the orbiting laboratory on March 3.
They did a spacewalk to maintain the external aspects of the structure and carried out more than 200 experiments for scientists on the ground.
