Here's What Taxi Riders in Ajman Will be Charged After Taxi Fares Drop

Due to lower fuel prices in June 2023, a UAE transport authority announced a drop in taxi prices.

Taxi riders will be charged Dh1.81 per km for this month, according to a statement from Ajman Transport. Compared to last month's prices (Dh1.85 per kilometre), the current rate is 4 fils lower.
For the month of June, the nation reduced the price of petrol at retail by 21 fils per liter for all three Super 98, Special 95, and E-Plus types, lowering them to the least prices in four months. Rates for Super 98, Special 95, and E-Plus all decreased by 6.6% and 7%, respectively.
The new price rates are as follows:
- Super 98 petrol will cost Dh2.95 a litre, compared to Dh3.16 in May.
- Special 95 petrol will cost Dh2.84 per litre, compared to Dh3.05 last month.
- E-Plus 91 petrol will cost Dh2.76 a litre, compared to Dh2.97 a litre in May.
- Diesel will be charged at Dh2.68 a litre compared to Dh3.03 last month.
