A new bus line connecting Musandam and Ras Al Khaimah will start operating on October 6th, 2023. The trip costs Dh50 and can be scheduled on the bus, at the bus station, on the RAKTA website, and through the RAKBUS app.

Travelers from the UAE will be able to easily explore the gorgeous Musandam nature as winter draws closer and immerse themselves in the blue seas surrounded by hilly landscapes.
The Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority (RAKTA) announced on X that the first international public bus would begin service, linking Ras Al Khaimah with the Sultanate of Oman's Governorate of Musandam.
On Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, there will be two trips scheduled at 8 a.m. and 6 p.m., with a three-hour total travel time.
The bus service will start from Ras Al Khaimah's major bus terminal (Al Dhait South) and make two stops in the Emirates in the Shaam and Al Rams areas. The service will run through Tibaat, Wilayat of Bukha, Harf, and the Qada area in the Musandam Governorate before starting and ending at Wilayat of Khasab.
