Go First Extends Flights Cancellation Until May 19th

Go First has extended flights cancelation until May 19th instead of May 12th, according to the latest announcement by the airline.

The cash-strapped carrier cited "operational reasons" for the cancellation of flights.
The Mumbai-based ultra-low-cost airline added that a full refund will be issued to travellers who have already booked their tickets.
The notification read, "We regret to inform that due to operational reasons, Go First flights scheduled till 19th May 2023 have been cancelled. We apologise for the inconvenience caused by the flight cancellations.”
“As you are aware, the company has filed an application for immediate resolution and revival of operations. We will be able to resume bookings shortly. We thank you for your patience,” it added.

Last week, Go First filed for bankruptcy with liabilities of more than Rs 11,000 crore due to a severe cash crunch. The airline blamed US aircraft manufacturer Pratt and Whitney for "faulty" engines that ground more than half of its fleet.
