Born in Sariaya, Quezon, Philippines, Maria Paz was the fifth of 12 children in a farming family. To support her studies, she worked part-time as a packer in a local bakery, where she developed a passion for baking. This early exposure laid the foundation for her future success.

In 2008, seeking better opportunities for her family, Maria Paz moved to Dubai and worked as a housekeeper for a French couple in Umm Suqeim. Her employers, recognizing her baking talent, provided her with a separate kitchen to pursue her passion. She began baking for her employers, their families, and friends, gradually building a clientele.
Turning Passion into Business
With encouragement from her growing customer base, Maria Paz took a leap of faith and opened her first bakery in Satwa, Dubai, in 2021. Despite financial challenges, she persevered, driven by her love for baking and the desire to provide for her family. Her signature cheesecakes quickly gained popularity, leading to long queues and sold-out days, especially during holidays.
