Get ready to tantalize your taste buds! The MICHELIN Guide Abu Dhabi 2025 has officially arrived, showcasing the finest dining experiences in the capital of the United Arab Emirates. This year marks the third edition of the guide, and the unveiling of this year’s award winners took place at a spectacular ceremony at the Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental hotel.

A Feast for the Senses: 48 Restaurants Recommended

This year, the MICHELIN Guide features an impressive selection of 48 restaurants, highlighting the vibrant culinary landscape of Abu Dhabi. Four remarkable restaurants have successfully retained their coveted one MICHELIN star, a testament to their exceptional quality and consistency.

The Star Holders

The following four culinary powerhouses continue to shine with their one MICHELIN star:

  • Erth
  • 99 Sushi Bar
  • Hakkasan
  • Talea by Antonio Guida

These establishments have demonstrated outstanding culinary skills and a relentless commitment to excellence. According to Gwendal Poullennec, the International Director of The MICHELIN Guides, “It is demanding to be selected into the MICHELIN Guide, but it is even harder to maintain the distinctions.” Each restaurant must deliver exceptional experiences year after year, showcasing their passion for gastronomy.

New Entries to the Guide

Excitingly, this year's guide also welcomes three new restaurants, further enriching the dining options:

  • Bord Eau by Nicolas Isnard: Indulge in classic French cuisine at this charming restaurant inspired by Côte-d'Or traditions.
  • Em Sherif Sea Café: Experience authentic Lebanese flavors that transport you straight to the heart of Beirut.
  • Broadway: A modern American brasserie located within the Emirates Palace, where you can savor contemporary twists on beloved classics.

Bib Gourmand Winners: Exceptional Value

The guide also celebrates value without compromising quality with the addition of two new Bib Gourmand restaurants:

  • Mika: Known for its fresh Mediterranean dishes that won’t break the bank.
  • Ryba: A seafood haven offering affordable fish and seafood specialties.

These newcomers join five other established Bib Gourmand holders: t’azal, Al Mzrab, Beirut Sur Mer, Otoro, and Almayass.

Celebrating Culinary Excellence

The MICHELIN Guide also recognizes outstanding individuals in the hospitality industry with its Special Awards. This year, three exceptional professionals stood out:

Young Chef Award: Yasmina Hayek

Yasmina Hayek, 28, from Em Sherif Sea Café, has been honored for her impressive culinary journey, continuing her family’s legacy while introducing innovative approaches that appeal to a younger audience.

Service Award: Mika

The service team at Mika has received accolades for their warm and engaging hospitality. Under the guidance of Chef-Owner Mario Loi, diners can expect a delightful experience marked by attentive yet unobtrusive service.

Opening of the Year: Ryba

Ryba has been recognized as the Opening of the Year for its inviting ambiance and menu that highlights fresh seafood sourced from nearby Zayed Port. Local Chef-Owner Faisal Mohamed Alharmoodi runs this hidden gem with true passion.
