The first-ever Gulf women's basketball championship is about to start, guided by Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan. This tournament will be hosted at the newly opened headquarters of the Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Sports Academy in Abu Dhabi.
Teams Competing
Four teams from the GCC will compete in this exciting event: Kuwait’s Al-Qurain, Oman’s Salalah Club, Qatar’s Al-Gharafa Club, and the home team from Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Sports Academy.
Grand Opening and Surprises
The organizing committee has planned an impressive opening ceremony with several surprises for attendees. The event will also feature high-profile guests from across the UAE and the GCC.
Tournament Schedule
The tournament will align with Emirati Women’s Day celebrations, taking place from August 22-24 for the qualifying rounds. The final games, which will determine the top teams, are scheduled for August 25-26.
