Fire Breaks Out at Dream Tower in Dubai Marina

A fire broke out at the apartment building Dream Tower A, located near the JLT Tram Station, in Duba Marina on Monday afternoon, Feb. 17.
Witnesses have captured black smoke and flames coming from the building's rooftop. The Dubai Civil Defence was notified at 12:29 p.m. Firefighters from Al Marsa Station arrived at the location.
The authorities examined the air conditioning coolers on the rooftop of the building where the fire was burning. The specialized teams quickly evacuated the building and worked towards bringing the fire under control.
At 12:44 p.m., the fire was under control and cooling operations were in process. At 1:44 p.m., all operations had concluded.
Dream Tower is a 29-storey building, which is 174 meters high.
