Final 'Fast & Furious' Movie Will Release in 2026
The Fast & Furious movie series is drawing to a close, with Fast XI expected to be released in 2026. Director Louis Leterrier confirmed the news and provided some details about the upcoming production.

Filming Timeline
Leterrier revealed that filming for Fast XI is set to begin soon. He plans to finish a separate project by September 15th and start shooting Fast XI on September 16th. According to Leterrier, filming will officially start early next year.
Release Date
Although Universal Pictures has not yet confirmed the release date, Leterrier stated that Fast XI is planned for a 2026 debut. This would mark the 25th anniversary of the first Fast & Furious movie's release.
Return to Roots
Leterrier also mentioned that the film will return to the franchise's origins, featuring a setting in Los Angeles similar to the original movie.
