Best Actor and Actress Awards

Ranbir Kapoor received the Best Actor in a Leading Role (Male) award for his role in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's controversial film "Animal," while Alia Bhatt secured the trophy for Best Actor in a Leading Role (Female) for her performance in Karan Johar’s romantic family drama "Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani."

Best Film and Director

"12th Fail," a biographical drama directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, was crowned as the Best Film, triumphing over other notable contenders. Vidhu Vinod Chopra also received recognition as the Best Director.

Critics’ Choice Awards

Devashish Makhija’s thriller "Joram" won the Filmfare award for Best Film (Critics’). The Critics’ Choice awards for Best Actor went to Vikrant Massey ("12th Fail"), Best Actress to Rani Mukerji ("Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway"), and Shefali Shah ("Three of Us").
