Filipino alternative rock band December Avenue is set to perform at the first-ever EarthSoul Festival in Dubai next month. The event, which focuses on promoting environmental awareness, will take place at the Coca-Cola Arena on June 22 at 8 PM.
Band Lineup and Popular Hits
December Avenue, composed of Zel Bautista, Jem Manuel, Don Gregorio, Jet Danao, and Gelo Cruz, is renowned for their emotional "hugot" songs like "Huling Sandali" and "Sa Ngalan ng Pag-Ibig." Their 2018 hit "Kung Di Rin Lang Ikaw," featuring Moira Dela Torre, was prominently featured in the trailer for the highest-grossing Filipino film, "Hello, Love, Goodbye."
Other Performers
The festival's second day will feature Moroccan-American rapper French Montana, Turkish singer Mustafa Ceceli, and singer Amanda Maalouf, adding to the diverse lineup of international and local talent.
Festival Purpose and Sustainability Initiatives
EarthSoul Festival aims to merge music and environmental advocacy, bringing together artists to promote sustainability. The festival will implement eco-friendly practices, including using recycled materials, effective waste management, no-plastic zones, and green energy sources. Additionally, the event will feature talks and workshops on topics such as plastic pollution and marine conservation.
