FIFA Fan Festival Test Event in Al-Bidda Park on November 16
The International Football Association (FIFA) announced the holding of a test event for the FIFA Fan Festival at Al-Bida Park in Doha next Wednesday, targeting Hayya cardholders, to be the last stop to improve the operational operations of the festival, whose entertainment activities will start on the 19th of November, one day before the start of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ competitions.
The event’s audience will have the opportunity to attend a DJ party and special performances that mimic the performances of the late American star Michael Jackson, and attendance at the event is limited to those who hold the mandatory Hayya card which allows access to the World Cup stadiums, and other advantages, such as free use of public transportation during the tournament. Hayya card is also an entry permit to Qatar for fans coming from outside the country.
The Qatar World Cup 2022 will witness a new start for the FIFA Fan Festival, and the festival will be held in one central location in Al-Bidaa Park in Doha, throughout the 29-day tournament.
Among the events and activities for fans at the festival site, is the live broadcast of all the tournament matches on huge outdoor screens with a breathtaking view of the West Bay skyline, and performances of the best international music work in addition to live concerts by a number of the most famous artists from Qatar and the world.
Besides, the festival site includes many food and beverage outlets with unique culinary experiences offering a variety of local and international cuisine, and the festival will witness matches with the participation of FIFA legends, in addition to interactive platforms that allow fans of all ages to enjoy electronic football games, as well as entertainment events Created by tournament sponsors, as well as the official FIFA Store for licensed products bearing the Qatar 2022 World Cup brand.
The experimental event will start at the festival site at 5 pm, and the show will continue until 10 pm, and visitors will be able to enjoy a variety of drinks starting at 7 pm, and orders will be submitted until 9:30 pm.
After the event, visitors can leave the site until 11 pm, while Doha Metro stations will operate until 3 AM.
Media representatives can attend the experimental event of the FIFA Fan Festival, as they are from the public, without allowing the entry or use of any professional photographic equipment or filming at the festival site.
