Globally-renowned Canadian poetess Rupi Kaur is coming to the 43rd Sharjah International Book Fair this November!
Kaur will host an exciting poetry workshop at the book fair on Monday, Nov. 11 at 11:00 a.m. Tickets for Kaur's 'Healing Through Words' bookshop are available here.
The workshop will be hosted at Forum 4 at the Expo Center Sharjah. The workshop will help attendees harmonize creativity with healing and experience the freedom of self-expression in a supportive environment.
The workshop will feature guided freewriting exercises that will transform their journey of creativity.
Rupi Kaur is a Canadian poet, author, and artist known for her deeply personal and evocative works that explore themes of love, loss, trauma, healing, and femininity.
Born in 1992 in Punjab, India, and raised in Canada, Kaur gained widespread recognition with her debut poetry collection milk and honey (2014), which became a global bestseller.
In addition to milk and honey, she has published two other collections, the sun and her flowers (2017) and home body (2020), both of which continue her exploration of personal and collective healing. Kaur is credited with popularizing the "Instapoet" movement, reaching a diverse, global audience.
