TikTok sensation and YouTuber Brooke Schofield has gone viral for her 14-part TikTok series that explains her past relationship with her ex-boyfriend and singer Clinton Kane.
The series garnered 40 million views in total after it was released on Jun. 26. The series chronicles Schofield's relationship with Kane and claims that the musician lied about his mother's death and his Australian background. He also lied about his age.
Schofield claimed in her series that Kane said that "his mom, dad, and brother died in the same year". Although, his father passed away, his mother and brother were alive and well.
The singer also lied to Schofield about being from Australia, alleged the influencer. The influencer accused Kane of cheating on her with multiple women.
Schofield shared that she learned about Kane's truth when he admitted it himself.
In the series, the YouTuber also said, "He said, ‘She can’t stop yapping.’ I’m like, ‘I will show you yapping.’”
This was in response to Kane promoting his latest song on TikTok with the caption, "When you’ve been over the relationship for two years, but she won’t stop yapping.”
After Scholfield's series was released, Kane's team published an official statement, which denied Schofield's recent comments about the singer.
The team revealed that Kane is from the Philippines, but he does consider Australia his home. They said, "He was never disingenuous about this fact."
The team also addressed Schofield's claims about Kane's mother. They said, "Clinton was lucky enough to have a very special mother-like figure in his teenage years, who sadly passed. Clinton regrets the way this devastating news was communicated at the time.”
Broke Schofield is known for her podcast 'Cancelled', which she co-hosts with fellow influencer Tana Mongeau.
