Dubai Culture's flagship event, the Sikka Art & Design Festival, is set to mark its 12th year of celebrating creativity and inspiration from February 23 to March 3, 2024. Taking place at the Al Shindagha Historic District, this festival will bring together artists from the UAE and across the GCC to transform the district with futuristic artworks and immersive experiences.
What is the Sikka Art & Design Festival?
Under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture and a member of the Dubai Council, the Sikka Art & Design Festival is a colorful celebration of art that focuses on supporting and showcasing the works of Emirati, UAE, and GCC-based artists.
What can visitors experience at the Sikka Art & Design Festival?
During this free-to-enter nine-day festival, visitors can explore a variety of creative installations and photography by over 500 artists. They can also enjoy live performances by more than 70 musicians, attend film screenings, and participate in workshops suitable for both children and adults.

How to get to Al Shindagha Historic District?
For those traveling by metro, the nearest station is Al Ghubaiba Metro Station, which is just a short 10-minute walk from the Al Shindagha Historic District. Alternatively, visitors can hail an RTA taxi through the Careem app or by calling +971 4 208 0808. Public parking is available on Khaleej Street for those arriving by car.
