The European Parliament's plan to force phone manufacturers to use one common standard charger was approved by the European Parliament this week, with 43 votes in favor (2 against). This plan aims to support a common charger for portable electronic devices, reducing e-waste and making the use of different mobile phones, tablets, and digital cameras more convenient.
