Emirati Sisters to Debut at European Ligier Series


Emirati female motorsports drivers and sisters Amna and Hamda Al Qubaisi will make their sportscar debut at the 2025 European Ligier Series with the three-time champions Group Virage.
The sisters will be aboard the Ligier JS P4 prototype, sharing the car for the first time after the F1 Academy championship, where they raced for two years with MP Motorsport.
Hamda Al Qubaisi secured four victories and ten podiums in F1 Academy during her two-year stint, coming third in 2023 and fifth in 2024.

Hamda also secured six wins between 2020 and 2021 in F4 UAE and one victory in F4 Saudi Arabia in 2024.
Amna Al Qubaisi secured two wins and four podiums in the 2023 F1 Academy season, finishing sixth that year.
She won the F4 Trophy round in Abu Dhabi in 2019, which was a support series to the F1 season finale of that year, becoming the first Arab woman to step on the F1 podium. Amna also secured a podium at the 2024 F4 Saudi Championship.
The sisters will make their debut at the race in Barcelona, Spain, in April, which is the season opener of the Ligier European Series this year.
