Dubai Police has commended the prompt actions of Emirati sailor Issa Mohammed Al Falasi, who bravely rescued eight fishermen and recovered the bodies of two others when their boat capsized during a fishing expedition.

Honored in a ceremony attended by Major General Ahmed Mohammed Rafie and other senior officials, Al Falasi demonstrated remarkable courage and a swift response during the incident.
He noticed a person in distress during a fishing trip, initiated a rescue, and, upon realizing that nine companions were missing, searched. Saving eight individuals, Al Falasi's efforts exemplify the commitment of UAE citizens to aid others in challenging circumstances. Despite being unable to rescue two who had already drowned, his actions showcase the spirit of humanitarian duty and national commitment.
Al Falasi expressed gratitude for the recognition, emphasizing the importance of taking necessary precautions and safety measures during such outings. Major General Rafie praised Al Falasi's dedication, highlighting the commendable values exhibited by UAE citizens in extending assistance, particularly in times of adversity.
