Emirati astronaut Dr Sultan Al Neyadi appeared in the beloved Emirati animated series 'Freej'!
His appearance on the animated series aims to inspire the next generation to pursue a career in the scientific field and share in their passion for space exploration.
Dr Al Neyadi shared the clip of his appearance in the animated series on his Instagram profile.
In the caption, Dr Al Neyadi wrote, "For all our space-loving kids...This episode is for you, and the future of space exploration is for you too. 🚀"
The clip shows the Emirati astronaut speaking in an interview on TV, which is being watched by the characters of the animated series.
Dr Al Neyadi says, "Before I embark on my journey into space, I would like to express my gratitude to everyone who has supported me through this experience."
He also says, "I especially want to thank my mother and all the mothers who have nurtured generations whose aspirations transcend the confines of space."
Dr Sultan Al Neyadi became the first Arab to serve on the International Space Station's six-month mission in 2023 and the first Arab to perform the spacewalk.
'Freej' is an animated Emirati series, which covers the story of four old Emirati women coming to terms with the latest developments in the UAE.
Mohammed Harib has directed this animated show and 'Freej' first launched in 2006.
Dr Al Neyadi's appearance in 'Freej' will inspire many young ones to pursue their dreams of space exploration!
