The Emirates airline launched a new check-in facility in Downtown Dubai on Thursday where a passenger can check in for his or her flight 24 hours before the flight's take-off.

The City Check-in and Travel Store is located in ICD Brookfield Place in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). Passengers can drop their luggage at the facility between four to twenty-four hours before take-off.

People who are travelling via Emirates can check in anytime between 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day through self-check-in kiosks, at dedicated desks with Emirates agents, or with the help of the world's first check-in robot called Sara. 

Sara is a portable cyber check-in system that can help passengers check in and guide them to luggage drop-off areas.
