The Emirates Airline Festival of Literature makes a grand return from January 31 to February 6, 2024, in its 16th edition. This week-long event promises a grand celebration of literature, featuring renowned writers, creators, and thought leaders.
Among the distinguished authors participating in the festival are Claudia Rankine, American poet and playwright; Tony Fadell, Silicon Valley entrepreneur and founder of Nest; and Rebecca Yarros, making her regional debut with the popular book, Fourth Wing. The lineup also includes Curtis Sittenfeld from BookTok, Anton Hur with an upcoming biography of K-pop sensation BTS, and Francesca Cartier Brickell, a direct descendant of the Cartier family. Returning favorites like behavioral expert Thomas Erikson and Lucy Hawking, daughter of Stephen Hawking, add to the literary richness.

Exciting new experiences await attendees, including LitFest After Hours, which offers evening performances, games, and activities. Discovery Talks, LitFest Families, and Youth Day cater to diverse interests, offering lectures, children's storytelling, and a special day for students.
