Dubai Municipality just brought back the highly anticipated Ramadan Souq, launching its third season at the Grand Souq in Deira. Running from now until February 22, the event aims to celebrate traditional customs, highlight Dubai’s rich cultural heritage, and support local businesses ahead of the holy month.

The Ramadan Souq has grown into a beloved annual tradition, drawing citizens, residents, and tourists alike. Nestled alongside the historic Deira Souq, the marketplace will feature stalls offering essential Ramadan supplies, including items for the cherished ‘Haq Al Laila’ celebration.

Beyond shopping, the souq will offer a vibrant mix of commercial exhibits, food stalls, and live entertainment. Families can enjoy engaging workshops, cultural performances, and activities designed for children, making it a must-visit destination this season.

Asem Al Qassim, Director of the Architectural Heritage and Antiquities Department at Dubai Municipality, emphasized the souq’s significance, stating: "The Ramadan Souq is a key traditional event that welcomes the holy month in Dubai. By hosting it in Grand Souq Deira—one of the city’s oldest markets—we reaffirm its role as both a shopping hub and a cultural landmark."

Dubai Municipality’s initiative aligns with the city’s vision to enhance its tourism appeal while boosting local commerce. As the emirate continues to blend heritage with modern experiences, the Ramadan Souq stands as a testament to Dubai’s commitment to preserving tradition while fostering a dynamic retail and entertainment landscape.
