Many volunteers in Dubai came together to prepare supplies for low-income families for the beginning of the new school year.
Dubai Cares organized the event on Saturday, Aug. 20 as part of their back-to-school campaign and to mark World Humanitarian Day.
The Back to School campaign is part of the Volunteer Emirates edition, which involves providing school kits to children from low-income families and orphans.
These school kits include items that are necessary as part of their academic learning.
At the event, the volunteers packed school backpacks with stationery such as notebooks, pencils, sharpeners, and much more.
The volunteers created 7,000 school kits, which will be distributed across various emirates at the start of the new academic year.
