Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has warned motorists to expect delays on key roads across the city today, February 5th, in connection with the breast cancer health initiative, Pink Caravan Ride.
Horses will be taking over streets in Dubai to mark Pink Caravan Ride, during which, free breast cancer medical screenings will be available.
Road closures were expected to affect Al Sukook Street, Al Boursa Street, Al Mustaqbal Street, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Blvd and Al Yamamah Street from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Further delays are expected to persist on King Salman Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud Street, The Walk at JBR from 11:15 am to 1:00 pm.
From 3-4 p.m., the road delays will affect Al Multaqa 1 Street, Al Enjaaz Street, Happiness Street and Al Madina Street.

Affected roads: Al Sukook St., Al Boursa St., Al Mustaqbal St., Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Blvd, & Al Yamamah St.
The authority also advised drivers to start their journey early and use alternative roads to avoid delays.
The Pink Caravan Ride -- which will travel across the seven emirates from February 4th-10th -- will take place in Dubai on Sunday, starting from DIFC Gate Avenue at 8 a.m. and ending activities in City Walk at 3 p.m.
