Dubai RTA Has Announced Free Public Parking For Eid Al Fitr Holidays

Free parking hours have been announced by Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) for Eid Al Fitr 2023.

Starting on Thursday, April 20, and continuing until Sunday, April 23, parking will be free for four to five days depending on when the Eid crescent moon is sighted in the country. However, Parking in multi-level parking terminals will not be free of charge.
The UAE Moon sighting committee had earlier on Tuesday urged all Muslims to keep an eye out for the crescent Moon on Thursday to mark the beginning of Eid Al Fitr 2023.
The celebrations of Eid Al Fitr will start on April 21st if the Moon is seen on Thursday, April 20th. Parking will be free from Thursday until Sunday if Eid falls on a Friday, and if Eid falls on Saturday, parking will be free from Thursday to Monday.
Additionally, the RTA announced the operating hours for the Dubai Tram, public buses, metro Red and Green Line stations, and intercity buses during the Eid holidays.
The Red and Green Line stations on the RTA's Metro will be operating from Thursday to Saturday from 5 a.m. to 1 a.m., and on Sunday from 8 a.m. to 1 a.m.
From Thursday to Saturday, the Dubai Tram is scheduled to operate from 6:00 am to 1:00 am, and on Sunday, it will operate from 9:00 am to 1:00 am.
Dubai Public buses will operate from 6 am to 1 am, and the first and last metro trips will be scheduled to align with the opening and closing of the feeder bus stations.
