Dubai's RTA Announces Traffic Management Plan for GITEX 2023

Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced a traffic management and mobility plan ahead of an influx of visitors for GITEX 2023.

GITEX 2023 is taking place at Dubai World Trade Centre, and the Expand North Star at Dubai Harbour from Monday, October 16th, until Friday, October 20.

The plan consists of traffic diversions and alternative routes such as:

Al Mustaqbal St. – for motorists coming from Meydan St.
Al Sukook St. – For motorists coming from Sheikh Zayed Road.
Also, the authorities alerted of traffic diversions at the Dubai World Trade Center area.

Moreover, RTA will provide 18 extra buses from the exhibition site to Dubai Mall and City Centre Deira, as well as 20 spare buses from Dubai World Trade Centre Metro Station to MAX Metro Station.

The authority will also provide "the largest possible number of taxis" throughout the event site.

Meanwhile, 6,000 parking spots will be available on the Expand North Star site.

Buses will be available to transport passengers from the Palm Monorail parking to Nakheel at the entrance of Palm Jumeriah, and from Al Khail metro station to the event.

Water transport will also be available from Skydive Dubai to the event site.
