Most of Dubai's hotels have already reached 75 percent bookings for Christmas and New Year's Eve and are expected to reach 100 percent bookings by the mid-December, 2023.

Online travel website booking.com reveals that 80 percent of hotel accomodations are unavailable during Christmas and 88 percent are unavailable during New Year's Eve.

Since the weather cooling down and the festive season has begun in the UAE, the country will witness an increased flow of tourists.

Dubai already surpassed its pre-pandemic tourist figures reaching 12.4 million from January to September 2023.

The surge in hotel bookings is obviously because of upcoming events such as the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2023, Christmas, and New Year festivities.

Hotels like Shangri-La in Dubai are expecting to be fully booked from Dec. 27, 2023 to Jan. 2, 2024 because the hotel has a magnificent view of the iconic landmark Burj Khalifa.

The bookings are coming from countries like the UK, Germany, Scandinavia, France, Germany, Switzerland Russia, Saudi Arabia, and India for hotels in Dubai.

This instance shows that the bookings are not only coming from European countries, but also from the Gulf region and South Asia, which shows that Dubai is an ideal holiday destination for international as well as regional tourists.
