Dubai's Al Maktoum International Airport, valued at AED120 billion ($33 billion), was established in 2010 for cargo operations and expanded in 2013 to accommodate passenger flights.
Dubai South, the urban master developer, has set its sights on making the Al Maktoum International Airport, also known as Dubai World Central (DWC), the largest airport globally upon its completion.
