The report covers passenger activity for the first six months of 2024, showcasing the busiest stations on both the Red and Green lines. This data doesn't represent individual users but the number of times a journey started or ended at each station.

Here’s a closer look at the key stations that saw the highest foot traffic:

1. BurJuman Station
BurJuman station, located at the intersection of Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Street and Khalid Bin Al Waleed Road in Bur Dubai, topped the charts with a staggering 7.8 million passengers from January to June. Its strategic location, where both the Red and Green lines intersect, makes it a crucial hub for commuters looking to transfer between lines.

2. Union Station 
Union station, situated in Al Rigga, closely followed BurJuman with 6.3 million passengers. Like BurJuman, Union station serves as a major interchange between the Red and Green lines, offering passengers a convenient way to switch routes.

3. Al Rigga Station  
Also located on the Red line, Al Rigga station recorded 6.2 million trips, securing its place as the third busiest station. Its proximity to the bustling Al Rigga district, known for its shops, restaurants, and hotels, makes it a popular destination.

4. Mall of the Emirates Station

5. Business Bay Station

1. Sharaf DG Station
