Weekday Night Delays
Maintenance will cause disruptions on weekdays from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am, starting August 9 and continuing until September 9. Both directions of the road will be affected, so plan your evening commutes accordingly.
Weekend Road Closures
In addition to weekday delays, the Dubai-Al Ain Road will face full closures on weekends from 1:00 am to 10:00 am for two consecutive weeks, beginning August 9.
Alternative Routes
To minimize inconvenience, the RTA recommends the following detours:
- From Al Ain to Dubai: Take the free right exit onto Jebel Ali-Lehbab Road towards Hatta, then make a U-turn at the first roundabout to head towards Dubai.
- From Dubai to Al Ain: Take the free right exit onto Jebel Ali-Lehbab Road towards Jebel Ali Port, then make a U-turn at the first roundabout to proceed towards Al Ain.
