Dubai Welcomed Over 3M Travelers in the First Two Months of 2023

Dubai received around 3.1 million foreign visitors in January and February 2023, up from 2.19 million during the same period in 2022 by 41.5%.
According to the Department of Economy and Tourism, the numbers reflect the Dubai Economic Agenda D33's objective to maintain Dubai's ranking as one of the top three worldwide cities for business and tourism. The current number of visitors in 2023 brought the city's pre-pandemic levels of 3.14 million visitors back by roughly 98.7%.
In comparison to the same periods in 2022 and 2019, the city's hotels had an increase in occupancy to 84% from 78% and 84%, respectively.

With roughly 400k tourists, India maintained its lead as the country bringing in the most visitors to Dubai, followed by Russia with 229k and the Sultanate of Oman with 200k.
