Dubai is set to host 38 nights of free drone shows during this year's Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF), promising a vibrant celebration illuminated by approximately 800 drones and stunning light installations. The festival, running until January 14, will turn Dubai into a colorful canvas, highlighting Emarat Petroleum's Dubai Lights in its third edition.

Free Drone Shows for 38 Nights

Emarat Petroleum presents the Dubai Lights DSF Drone Show, captivating audiences with a synchronized display of state-of-the-art drone technology. The free show, scheduled at The Beach JBR at 8 PM and later at Bluewaters at 10 PM, will feature 800 drones transforming into an array of colors and shapes, narrating unforgettable stories to viewers.

Cultural Narratives and Futuristic Journeys in Light

Partnering with renowned animator Mohammed Saeed Harib, the show weaves Emirati culture into its storytelling. The first theme narrates fairytales infused with local traditions, emphasizing the significance of the pearl in Dubai's culture as a symbol of wealth and prosperity.

The second theme propels viewers into Dubai's futuristic landscape, displaying the city's innovation and global progress. Illustrating Dubai's commitment to innovation, the show features sustainable spaces and towering skyscrapers, revealing its vision and desire to push boundaries.

Other Light Exhibitions Across Dubai

Beyond the drone shows, Dubai Lights will illuminate the city with unique artworks. TheAnooki, inflatable creations by French designers, will debut at various locations, including Hatta, Etisalat MOTB, d3, and Al Seef, conveying messages about climate change.

City Centre Mirdif will host giant inflatables of Dubai's beloved characters Modesh and Dana, while West Beach will showcase life-sized rainforest installations, offering visitors an immersive Amazonian experience. Additionally, Dubai Neon will feature 40 light-adorned Abra, illuminating Al Seef and the Old Gold Souk with neon writings, creating picturesque spots and ideal photo opportunities for visitors.
