The Ruler of Dubai said he would fund the world’s most expensive treatment, AED8 million, for an Iraqi girl suffering from a fatal genetic disease.
HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai accepted the girl’s mother plea on social media.

The Iraqi mother put out plea to the ruler of Dubai on social media to save the life of her daughter Laveen who suffers from Spinal Muscular Atrophy.
The video posted says the following:
To the honourable Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum in my name and the name of my daughter Lavin, I send you an urgent distress call. My daughter suffers from a very rare disease, and her treatment is not available in my country, Iraq. However, I tried a lot in Iraq and I was fed up, and treatment is available at Al Jalila Hospital in Dubai, but, I cannot afford it.
