Dubai Ride: Key Road Closures Announced for Sunday Morning

Dubai is gearing up for the highly anticipated Dubai Ride, part of the Dubai Fitness Challenge, with major road closures set to take place early Sunday morning.
The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has confirmed that Sheikh Zayed Road, between the Trade Centre Roundabout and the second bridge, will be closed from 3:30 am to 10:00 am.
Additionally, the Lower Financial Centre Street between Sheikh Zayed Road and Al Khail Road will also be shut during these hours.
Motorists should also note that one direction of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard will be inaccessible.
To avoid disruptions, the RTA recommends using alternative routes such as Al Mustaqbal Road, Al Wasl Road, and Al Khail Road.
The Dubai Ride has become a marquee event for cycling enthusiasts, welcoming riders of all ages to experience a unique pedal through the city’s iconic roads. With two distinct routes catering to different fitness levels, the event ensures inclusivity, inviting families and seasoned cyclists alike to join in the action.
Coinciding with Dubai Ride on Sunday, 10 November, RTA announces the closure of the following roads from 3:30 AM to 10:00 AM:
