Dubai Resident Missing in the Maldives for 11 Days

A Dubai resident went missing in the Maldives 11 days ago. Gidere Vskyte, an eight-month pregnant woman, disappeared from the Intercontinental Resort on Feb 13 while on a trip with her husband.
The husband, Parmar Gursharanjit Singh, put a up a $100,000 reward for information on his wife’s whereabouts.

Singh said his wife went missing after she went headed to the beach, alone, for a swim.

Police said that she likely drowned at sea, after a 5-day search, but family members are still looking for more answers.
According to The National on Wednesday, a media representative from the Maldives Police said she was first reported missing at about 9pm on February 13.
"The Maldives National Defence Force carried out the search operation, non-stop, for five days, including an aerial search, surface search and diving.
"Our Investigation team has obtained strong evidence to believe she was lost in the sea and we do not have any evidence to think otherwise."
