Dubai Ports Police's Marine Rescue Division has once again showcased its efficiency and expertise. Recently, divers successfully salvaged a sedan that had plunged into the Al Jaddaf area of Bur Dubai. The vehicle had fallen off the dockside, collided with a parked yacht, and ended up flipped over on the seabed.

Col. Ali Abdullah Al Naqbi, Deputy Director of the Ports Police Station, reported that two young men were inside the vehicle when the incident occurred. Thanks to the windshield breaking during the collision, both men were able to escape safely.

The Command and Control Centre in the General Department of Operations received the emergency call at 2:20 PM. Marine rescue patrols, maritime security units, and local area patrols quickly responded to the scene. Fortunately, the two men were confirmed to be safe, and no additional individuals were found in the car.

Captain Abdul Rahman Bourguiba, Head of the Marine Rescue Division, detailed the recovery process. After ensuring the men’s safety, divers assessed the car’s position and secured it with ropes from the police lift unit. They then lifted the vehicle onto the dockside with precision.
