Dubai Police has reached an impressive milestone by logging over 1.25 million volunteer hours over the past five years. This achievement reflects the combined efforts of police staff and volunteers from various nationalities, all of whom contributed through the Dubai Police Volunteering Platform.
Record-Breaking Year in 2024
This year alone, the platform recorded 422,589 volunteer hours, with 10,931 individuals participating in a range of community-focused initiatives. This growth highlights an ongoing commitment to fostering volunteerism within Dubai’s police force and the broader community.
International Volunteer Day Recognition
The announcement coincides with International Volunteer Day, celebrated annually on December 5 to honor volunteers' contributions worldwide.
Enhancing Community Through Volunteering
Brigadier Ali Khalfan Al Mansouri, Director of the General Department of Community Happiness, emphasized the leadership of Lieutenant General Abdulla Khalifa Al Marri in promoting a culture of volunteerism.
