Dubai Police released a visitor’s guide for FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 outlining where fans can view the telecasts, important numbers to know, transport information, rules for celebration, and other points of interest.

‘Rules for celebrations’ 

• Do not possess or drink alcohol in public areas

• Avoid showing affection in public places

• It is prohibited to ingest or circulate narcotics

• Avoid unlicensed massage parlours and suspicious

• For the sake of your privacy, please respect the privacy of others while photographing

• Please preserve public property

• Do not celebrate in places not designated for this purpose in order not to disturb others

• Remember that you are in a state of tolerance. As such, you must respect the state’s culture where the contempt of religions and all kinds of discrimination and political disputes are prohibited

• Show good sportsmanship and stay away from sports fanaticism.

Where to watch the World Cup

BudX FIFA Fan Festival is the official fan zone at Dubai Harbour, as Dubai is one of six cities that will host official FIFA Fan Festivals around the world during the FIFA World Cup. At BudX FIFA Fan Festival, over 10,000 fans are expected to converge to celebrate the beautiful game in a state-of-the-art, immersive atmosphere.

The UAE's largest television screen will be at Dubai Media City Amphitheatre, which is also Dubai's official England fan zone, featuring plenty of food trucks, upbeat music, football activations and dedicated areas for the little ones through the tournament.

Hotels, bars, restaurants, beach clubs, cinemas and more will also livestream the action from Doha.
