This move impacts 457 plots, including 128 on Sheikh Zayed Road and 329 in Al Jaddaf, offering landowners a chance to significantly enhance their property’s market value.
The shift to freehold is expected to amplify the economic appeal of these areas, opening doors for real estate developments and attracting a fresh wave of local and international investors. Sheikh Zayed Road and Al Jaddaf are set to emerge as hot spots for those seeking prime freehold opportunities.
Eng. Marwan Ahmed bin Ghalita, Director General of the DLD, highlighted the broader impact: “Enabling property owners in these key locations to convert to freehold ownership will drive tremendous growth in Dubai’s real estate sector.”
This initiative aligns with Dubai’s Real Estate Strategy 2033, reinforcing the city’s status as a global economic powerhouse and a top-tier destination for property investment.
